Meet Coach Kim
Kim has been with HQAA for nearly 2 years. She previously served as an administrator in an ophthalmology practice for over 33 years.
What do you think makes HQAA unique?
"HQAA’s web-based program is definitely a unique attribute to only HQAA. Companies have access to their Workroom at any time, and working on accreditation does not have to interrupt the general operations of their business. Each customer is assigned an accreditation coach that can assist him or her with questions, suggestions and clarification for meeting the documentation requirements of the standards. Although this is a web-based program, the personal touch still takes a primary role in the relationship."
What's your best piece of accreditation advice?
"Utilize your coach as much as you need to help give you a clearer and simplified approach to understanding and addressing the requirements of the standards as they relate to your company. Keep your accreditation current after accreditation with the ACT Service. This is an excellent program with updated audit tools, current information and resources to further educate your organization. You will have access to your Workroom to update your policies and procedures from the findings of the audit tools provided in the ACT Service (and your accreditation coach too!)."
